Single-link checkers are fine for one-off lookups. Batch link checkers exist because real-world workflows involve hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of links — and clicking through each one isn't feasible.

What gets checked per link

Every link gets a full HTTP request and response measurement.

  • HTTP status code (200, 301, 404, etc.)
  • Final URL (after following the redirect chain)
  • Number of redirect hops
  • Response time in milliseconds
  • Soft 404 detection (200 with not-found content)
  • Connection error type (timeout, DNS, refused, blocked)

Where the input comes from

CSV with a URL column. A markdown or HTML file (we extract embedded links). Pasted text, one URL per line. Sitemap export. Backlink CSV from Ahrefs or SEMrush. Whatever you have, paste or upload it.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a bulk URL checker?
Same thing — "batch" and "bulk" are interchangeable in this context. We use both terms because users search for both.
What's the max batch size?
75,000 links per single job. For larger batches, split across jobs.
Can I run multiple batches in parallel?
Yes. Each job runs independently in our worker pool.
