Have URLs in an Excel column? Paste, validate, get results back as CSV ready to drop into Excel. No add-ins, no formulas, no per-cell hacks.
Excel doesn't have a native URL-status function. The workarounds (=WEBSERVICE, custom VBA, third-party add-ins) are slow, brittle, and tied to your local machine. They also stop working in Excel for Mac and the web app.
Our flow: copy your URL column into our paste box, run the job, download the CSV result, paste back into Excel as a new column. 30 seconds end-to-end for a few hundred URLs.
If your data is bigger, save your Excel file as CSV, upload directly. We auto-detect the URL column. The result CSV has the same row order and includes status code, final URL, response time, and error if any.
Same flow works for Google Sheets — copy the URL column, paste, run, paste results back. We have a dedicated guide on this in the blog.
